Taking their place: TOHU, Montreal
In partnership with organizations Brin d'elles and Centre des femmes d'ici et d'ailleurs, and in collaboration with artist Philomène Lévesque Rainville, this project by TOHU brought together a group of women for a cultural mediation project combining clown art and photography. Following a guided tour of an exhibition on women in the circus arts at La TOHU in 2022, the participants continued their exploration of clowning around with Philomène, discovered the basics of photography with me, and modelled in front of my lens (with and without their red nose)...
