Nepal: Women's trek for Peace & Development

In March 2008, I was commissioned by Centre d'etudes et Cooperation Internationale (CECI) to participate in the 'Women's trek for Peace & Development' humanitarian mission in Nepal. During a 10 day trek in Jumla district, along with a group of Canadian and Nepalese nurses, we visited several remote villages, bringing medical supplies and conducted workshops on healthcare, leadership and women's empowerment.
