Reality Gives: Dharavi slum, Mumbai, India

In 2018, I conducted some informal photography workshops for a group of teenagers from Dharavi slum in Mumbai, India, in collaboration with community-based NGO Reality Gives that provides youth with access to quality education. After basic training in photography, the young residents went out to explore their neighbourhood with compact digital cameras. The resulting images were exhibited at the Salle de diffusion Parc-Extension in Montreal and at the Prince of Wales Museum in Mumbai.
